Who We Are

FOSCOD is an indigenous Ugandan non-profit. We bring communities, development practitioners and academic partners together to address social, economic and environmental challenges. Local knowledge and shared learning guide practical solutions that communities can lead and sustain.

Internship and Volunteer (Global Learning and Exchange Program)

Students, interns, volunteers and researchers contribute to locally defined work through FOSCOD initiatives and Ugandan host organizations. Placements combine practical learning, local supervision and community benefit across environmental, energy and other development sectors.

Community Empowerment and Development Program (CEDP)

Communities lead practical work in clean energy and skills, WASH and health, green livelihoods, inclusive climate leadership and ecosystem restoration. Education, enterprise and shared learning connect these areas.
